Easier to use than expected for a retired gentleman. Nice feature to have the cable cutter built in . Easy to use for even the largest crimps ( ferrules )

It worked just like it was supposed to. The cable is swaged. I've used it twice since then, for winching a car onto the trailer and nothing failed. So I guess the crimper did its job.

I use 5/16 wire rope for pulling trees. Aluminum sleeves crimped with this tool don't slip. For safety I use two sleeves on each cable end. My only complaint is this tool is vary hard to operate with 5/16 sleeves. Longer handles on the tool would be a major improvement.

I bought this to do some swagging of cables at a project I was working on. A simple machine which does exactly what it's supposed to do. What more could you ask for.

This is super easy to use and the extra length helps when steadying it to crimp, plus easy leverage

I’ve needed a set of ferrule crimpers several times on occasion for various small projects but did not buy a set due to their usual high costs and so I found other ways around to crimp them if they were not load bearing. I decided to buy these for a garage door cable repair project that I needed to go right and I could not be more pleased. They did a fabulous professional job right out of the box. I did not realize they have cable cutters in the jaws as well and those worked great and clean which shocked me as I have experience with cutting much larger equipment cable 1/2” to 3/4” and that can be a nightmare without the right equipment. Great tool for the money overall.

I used it on and bunch if 3/16 wire. Cuts nicely and crimps easily.

This did the trick. We're glad we purchased one with the long arms as the leverage was needed for what we were doing. Great lifetime purchase.
