Bought for a 3700# camper trailer with thought I might move up in size. This is a heavy hitch (the hitch bar is solid..first I have ever seen). Probably over kill. The instructions that came with it are for another model. Mine has but in tightening levers, which is handy, except requires a second bolt to hold them in place when a 1/2 \" hitch pin would work as well ($7 Amazon for 2). Also, to echo an earlier criticism, the ball is not attached and requires a socket size most folks do not have (another $12 for Amazon). That does allow more options for adjusting height as can fit on either side of carrier. I am sure it will work but in retrospect would have bought a lighter version.

Does exactly what it says it does. Reduces drag on the hitch, levels up the rear of the vehicle thereby reducing the level of sway in the front end and improving gas mileage. Shores up the towing so that the trailer rides smoothly with zero sway.

I modified and made brackets myself and works great. Went on a 6000 mile trip no issues

I have an 18 ft camper and the hitch distrubuted the weight very well. The back end if my truck did not sag like it did with a regular hitch. The sway bars worked great, my camper did not sway back and fourth. Backing up with the sway bars was easy with no problems. I was also able to make sharp turns with the sway bars with no problems.

This is a good hitch. Its very well made with the exception of the lever bar (the tip of the bar bends very easily). Also, this is not a fault of the product but I didn't think about the fact that this isn't nearly as easy to adjust distribution tension for different loads as a chain style distribution hitch is. You can adjust it but you have to take off the bolts for the adjustment level move it up or down then put the bolts back on. If you have a camper or something like that where you will be basically using the same level every time then this would work great. If you will be hauling different loads and need to adjust the tension often then I would recommend going with a chain style.

Thus is what I needed. Liked the heavy duty weight bars. Setup was as expected. Worked amazing on my 10K lb. trailer. This did not have anti sway, but I didn't need it for my short haul.

Came with no instructions but, easy to find how to install on the Internet.
