This little sander is well designed and very functional in use. I think the only thing that would stand out for me would be how the controls are managed, having the power converter and a separate inverter control for the speeds and the space that it takes up. The overall construction and belt system is very useful, I'll be at the platen is not placed as good as it could be considering you lose half of its use. I would definitely purchase this again as it has faults but functionally it is a wonderful little unit. ...See more See less

I bought this to replace my trusty HF 1x30 and have been extremely impressed. Vevor has hit the sweet spot for hobbyists who can't justify a 900-2000 dollar machine. This provides most of the features of those big machines in a small, easily moveable package. I built a simple wooden stand for mine so I can carry it outside quickly. Setup is a breeze, everything is VERY high quality, and the adjustable speeds are a game changer. Metal or wood, knives, small parts, or decorative pieces, this little booger does it all. Straight out of the box it needed little adjustment on the frame. Metal was a bit warped and the belt wasn’t running parallel. Bit of adjusting and now it seems to run quite well. I got the 2x72 belt grinder. The controller wiring was ripped out of the back and there was no transformer to convert from 220 to 110v. Their service department says the package weight would be in line with having a transformer. My question is, why would I lie about it? I would have nothing to gain by having an additional transformer. Besides that the controller is damaged. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend buying anything from them. I spent 1000.00+ and have a useless machine. Run! Don't buy!!! ...See more See less
